There is regular neon and cold (flexible).

• Ordinary neon is a specially coated glass tube that is filled with an inert gas. When connected to the mains, the gas heats up and glows brightly. With the help of special holders, the tubes are fixed to the surface.
• Cold neon is a plastic cord that glows along its entire length. It does not emit heat and is absolutely safe, since a low current is sufficient for its operation. Flexible neon for auto illumination is also very popular.
